A unique form of the plume yews. It is columnar or vase-shaped shrub with long branches
starting near the base and pointing straight up held tightly together. The leaves are arranged in spiral whirl like bottlebrushes.
Grows moderately slow to about 8ft tall and 4ft wide.
Native of Japan where it is seen in the under-story of other plants. This taxus
has very well heat tolerance and is great in southern gardens. Zone 5-9
