Ginkgo Biloba 'Jehosephat'

Selected by Dawes arboretum, Jehoshaphat is a witches’-broom that originated at Spring Grove Cemetery & Arboretum, Cincinnati, Ohio. It is often confused with Spring Grove Ginkgo. It grows slowly at first with a globose habit but it will ultimately reach around 9’ tall with the typical fan-shaped gingko leaves being half of its normal size. The name, Jehoshaphat, refers to a character in Par Lagerkvist’s book, The Dwarf
