This gracefully sweeping, almost irregular pyramid growing evergreen has fern-like branches that are a rich dark  green that is beautiful year round. This is the classic anchor tree, A very good specimen plant typically used as focal point or entrance way plant or used for screening.

Native of Japan, it has an excellent zone range (4-8) and a medium grower. Growing usually around 15ft in 20 years and reaching a max height of about 50ft. In its native Japan it has been know to grow as tall as 120ft
