Sometimes called fern-leaf
full-moon maple, the 'Aconitifolium' name translates to “foliage of aconitum”. It is a dwarf deciduous multi-stemmed
small tree and usually grows to about 10’ tall. The leaves are almost fern-like medium green and divided into 9-11 toothed
and cut lobes. The leaves turn crimson red in the fall (a really stunning fall color), and also has small reddish flowers
appear in spring.
