Acer japonicum 'Vitifolium'




With a name that means “grape leaf” because of is similar look to grape leafs (Vitis genus), this small tree usually grows to about 12-15’ tall. It is known for having large and shallow lobed leaves usually about 6” across. Leaves come out in spring time with bronze tones then turn to green through the summer months. It also develops brilliant orange and crimson red fall colors, a great plant for fall color.
