Originally found in a cemetery in Williamsburg, Virginia, this one of our favorite boxwoods, 'Memorial' is a dwarf, dense form, evergreen shrub with dark green foliage. It has a compact and wide upright habit. Also, it does not appear to have the winter bronzing problem many other cultivars have. Growing about 4-6 inches a year it will eventually reach a mature height of about 6 ft tall and about 3 ft wide.
