Commonly known as Western Red Cedar it is an evergreen conifer with red-brown flaking bark. It has
a pyramidal habit with dark-green, drooping foliage that becomes bronze-tinted in winter. It is slower growing than Green
Giant and makes a great hedge although it can still grow up to 2 ft a year. Plant in moist, free-draining soil. It will reach
a height of around 12 ft tall and 5 ft wide in 10 years and around 60 ft tall by 20 ft wide once mature.
