Ilex opaca 'Judy Evans'

Theodore made this selection in Cave Hill Cemetery in 1940 and named it after his niece 'Judy Evans'.  It is considered one of the best cultivars of American holly because of its conical shape and dense lustrous dark green foliage and bright red fruit. A vigorous grower eventually reaching about 40' tall.
