Buxus microphylla 'Green Pillow'

A low-mounding dwarf evergreen that is a dense, cushion-like, green dome. Tiny green leaves oval leaves that grow about ½ " long. It will grow to about 1 ft tall over the first 10 years. These plants where planted in the White House rose gardens in the 1960s and have grown to over 3' tall mounds. 'Green Pillow' was introduced in 1962 by Henry Hohman.
